Chapter 511 - 510: Everyone Has Their Own Hardships

"Care?" Aunt Rhodes let out a bitter, cold laugh, "Wesley Caldwell, this is clearly fraud! Forget it, I don’t want to say anything to you."

Aunt Rhodes turned and continued walking forward.

Wesley Caldwell watched her back, the flames of anger burning in his eyes.

He quickly stepped forward, grabbed Aunt Rhodes’s shoulder, and pushed her directly into a corner of the wall, roughly kissing her face.

"Wesley Caldwell, what are you doing? Let me go!"

Aunt Rhodes struggled desperately, but Wesley Caldwell ignored her, kissing her while lifting her skirt, then forcing himself on her.

"Ah!" Aunt Rhodes screamed, her eyes wide with terror, "Wesley Caldwell, let me go! Get away! Get away!"

"Want me to get away? No chance! You are my wife now, I can do whatever I want with you!" Wesley Caldwell’s actions were rough, without a trace of gentleness.

Aunt Rhodes was no match for his strength, in the end, she could only cry, her empty gaze looking toward the sky. She thought, Brother Rhodes, is this the punishment for betraying you and abandoning our daughter?

If this is the punishment you give, then I will take it.

Wesley Caldwell noticed that Aunt Rhodes, pressed against the wall, suddenly stopped struggling. Her arms hung limply by her sides, and her vacant eyes stared at the sky, tears streaming down her still beautiful face despite her age.

She looked like a ragdoll, seemingly losing all vitality in an instant.

Wesley Caldwell was frightened, quickly withdrawing from her body, "Laura? Laura, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m a beast, I’m not human, I shouldn’t have hurt you! But Laura, I really love you."

"Get away." Aunt Rhodes didn’t even look at him, lowered her skirt, pushed him away, and stumbled off.

Wesley Caldwell clenched his fists in anger. How was he any less than that fool Ronan Rhodes, yet when Ronan was alive, she never looked his way, not even after Ronan died, she still wouldn’t spare him a glance.

Inside Wesley Caldwell, the flames of fury raged, needing a place to vent. With a grim face, he pulled out his phone and dialed, speaking in a dark tone as soon as it connected, "Meet me at the villa in the south of town tonight." With that, he hung up without waiting for a response.

Bella Acker returned to the roadside, Sunny’s car was still waiting there, and Ethan, who had been leaning against the window waiting for her, immediately opened the car door and ran down, "Bella."

The child, as if afraid of being abandoned, wrapped his arms around her legs tightly, burying his little head in her lap.

"Ethan, what’s wrong?" Bella Acker patted the child’s head and said, "It’s raining outside, let’s get back in the car, okay? Also, Bella’s pants and clothes are all dirty, why don’t you let go so you don’t dirty your clothes too, okay?"

Though Ethan heard her, he stubbornly refused to let go.

Bella Acker sighed, squatted down to pick up the child, put him back in the car, removed her coat covered in mud and grass, then wiped her pants with a tissue before sitting in the car with her coat as a cushion, saying, "Sorry, Sunny, I might get your car dirty with the mud on me."

Sunny put down the phone he had been playing with for a while, waved his hand, and said, "No worries, I’m going to take it to the 4S shop for maintenance tomorrow anyway."

"Thank you." Bella Acker thanked sincerely.

Sunny smiled and asked nothing as he drove the car away.

After getting into the car, Ethan snuggled up to Bella Acker.
