Chapter 626 - 222: Can a full body massage reduce swelling?_2
She stared at her phone. The text she had sent to Li Yuan at six that afternoon had vanished without a trace, like a stone sinking into the sea. This playboy who had stolen her heart had time to shop with his girlfriend but couldn’t be bothered to reply to her message, leaving her feeling sour inside.
Her mind couldn’t help but drift back to the few lines of a song Li Yuan had sung to her in the office that day...
[Never again, did I see, a sunset so beautiful...]
[When darkness falls, shadows will, vanish at the corner...]
[Your gentle wave, still follows, as I sleepwalk through my dreams...]
[It’s the evening wind, the river of stars, the song I hum...]
Qi Siyu gazed at the bright moonlight outside the window, humming these lines. Her heart was a tangle of mixed emotions, and a deep sigh escaped her lips.
She had, perhaps, fallen for someone she shouldn’t have!
Li Yuan, why are you so talented, so outstanding? You’ve made me fall so deep. I know this is wrong, but I can’t help it... I’m like a moth drawn to a flame... What am I supposed to do now?
Li Yuan had no idea that tonight’s chance encounter would cause so much turmoil for a certain sexy teacher whose heart had been stirred. He had, of course, seen the message from Qi Siyu, but he’d just treated it as a simple question and hadn’t given it a second thought. This was mainly because, after the sudden incident with Wang Jierong, he had become somewhat wary, and his mindset had changed. He didn’t want to go around flirting anymore; the three women already by his side were more than enough. Even so, he was already struggling to give all three of them the sweet campus romance they deserved.
At that moment, he had already returned with Zhong Tingyue to another one of his houses in Jinxiu Villas. He was currently enjoying a full-body massage from her, along with some very special attention.
Although Zhong Tingyue was on her period, preventing them from "playing a proper hand of poker," no other activities were skipped. In fact, they were even more thrilling, leaving Li Yuan savoring the taste and reluctant for it to end.
The next day, the two of them returned to school early and began a new Chapter of their campus life.
The following week was the calmest they had ever had. Zhong Tingyue, Xia Zhijin, and Bai Weixi seemed to have silently accepted the new reality. They didn’t interfere with one another, instead taking turns, one day at a time, to experience their own unique version of a campus romance.
Meanwhile, the operations base in the Research and Development Building was officially up and running. His three roommates—Liu Jia, Wu Hao, and Xu Ziqiang—along with more than a dozen part-time student employees, were now commuting daily between the startup base and their dorms, fully in work mode.
The only time they all got together was for the occasional school basketball game. With Li Yuan as the team’s core player, Computer Science Class 1 swept through the competition, achieving an undefeated 3-0 record and earning the top spot in the School of Electronic and Information Engineering.
As for Zhihu, the company’s sole product, its registration and activity numbers both hit their peak just one week after launching. After a week of explosive growth, Zhihu’s registered users exceeded 36,000,000, and its daily activity level stabilized at around 2,000,000. It had leaped into the ranks of top-tier forum sites, second only to a handful of giants like Tieba, Weibo, and Renren Network. Consequently, a constant stream of companies and merchants was contacting him for advertising placements.
Li Yuan himself settled into a four-point routine, constantly commuting between his school dormitory, the startup base, the company headquarters, and Jinxiu Villas. He was also overseeing the interior design and product development for the "Tea Color Moonlight" milk tea shop. As his next key product, Li Yuan had high hopes for the "Tea Color Moonlight" brand.
Inside the Yunjing Decoration Company office, Li Yuan and Zhong Tingyue were reviewing the design mock-ups and discussing the decor style.
"Little Moon, what do you think about this decoration style?"
"Senior, I feel this ’Tea Color Moonlight’ logo isn’t distinctive enough," Zhong Tingyue began, pointing to various elements on the mock-ups. "The interior decor is a bit dark, too. I think lighter tones would look much better and create a warm, fashionable atmosphere.
"And the slogans on the walls are very plain; they aren’t eye-catching at all. Based on what we discussed, if we want to make these shops into places that attract people to check in and take photos, we still have a long way to go.
"The interior layout has problems, too. The service area should be enclosed, leaving enough space outside for a booth-like seating arrangement. We need plenty of charging ports so people can use it as a place for casual work or relaxation."
Having listened to her point out over a dozen areas for improvement one after another, the staff from the decoration company began to break out in a cold sweat. This was already the third time they had to make revisions.
"Mr. Li, Miss Zhong, we will address all of your feedback immediately and get you the latest design mock-ups as soon as possible."
Zhong Tingyue reminded them sternly, "You need to pay close attention to the issues I’ve pointed out. I found a lot of interesting slogans online that you need to incorporate in an artistic font. Also, each of these ten shops needs its own unique design plan and theme."
"Of course, Miss Zhong. We will revise everything exactly to your specifications."
Seeing Zhong Tingyue’s meticulousness, Li Yuan found it quite interesting and inwardly admired her. A woman’s eye for design really was much better than a man’s, especially when it came to decor. With this third round of revisions, he felt the design was finally achieving the exact feel he had been hoping for.
