Chapter 52 Maggie Cheung and Joey Wong
Chapter 52 Maggie Cheung and Joey Wong
"Now we've reached our last segment for today~~~"
As the host from Shuangmen Girls' High School read out the last program, a chorus of regretful shouts erupted from the audience; such a wonderful performance had finally come to an end.
The host glanced nervously at the four boys waiting beside him.
"I'll just read it as written here!"
"Number 10!"
"Shuangmen High School! Fire trucks! The story of last night!"
When the host announced Shuangmen High School, the girls in the audience suddenly shouted loudly. These girls were at the peak of their hormones, and they shouted excitedly.
Seeing the amazing effect that ignited the entire audience, Deok-sun's smile almost reached her eyes as she crossed her arms and looked expectantly at the stage.
"Hey Hey!"
"Fire truck! Fire truck! Fire truck!..."
As expected of Shuangmen Girls' High School, their professional cheering was so synchronized.
The four people on stage danced in unison, their youthful hormones surging and radiating a dazzling light, which excited the girls in the audience who shouted loudly.
"Wow~~~~~!!!!" Deok-sun's eyes lit up as she clapped wildly.
Although Zhang Meiyu and Wang Zixian couldn't clap, their eyes still shone brightly.
By throwing a few handsome young men of similar age into a group of female students, Deok-sun's move was completely unconventional and directly challenged the very foundation of performing arts. It would be unreasonable for her not to be number 10 in first place!
"Deok-sun~ Shall we go?" Yoo Seo-woo walked over and patted Deok-sun's head.
Deok-sun is intently studying the "handshake" gesture...
"Oh~"
"Shuyu! Thank you~!" Deok-sun smiled brightly, showing her upper teeth.
"Hey! Where are we?" Jung-hwan's question still struck right at the heart.
"Oh! Jung-pal! Sun-woo! Dolphin! Thank you~~!" Deok-sun called out each name.
"Are you that happy? Anyway, your sister will take you away sooner or later!" Sunwoo said with a smile, saying something that touched Deoksun's heart.
"Are you crazy! Who told you to tell my family?!" Deok-sun instantly pulled down her lip and glared at Sun-woo.
"Deok-sun! Remember our promise?" But Dong-ryong ignored them; he had only one goal!
Deok-sun gave a strange smile, patted the dollfish on the shoulder, and called out to the back.
"Sisters, come over here! Let me introduce you to my friends!"
Wang Zixian, dragging his bandaged hand, and Zhang Meiyu, leaning on crutches and dragging her leg covered in plaster, walked over...
"Hi~ Shuyu! Hi~ Hello~" Zixian and Meiyu bowed slightly, first greeting the familiar Liu Shuyu, and then greeting the three of them.
Liu Shuyu smiled and waved, while Shanyu and Zhenghuan returned the greeting calmly. Suddenly, the dollfish started coughing wildly.
"She is Zhang Meiyu, we call her Zhang Manyu!" Deok-sun introduced Meiyu, pulling her along.
Meiyu quickly smiled and nodded at the three handsome single young men besides Liu Shuyu.
"Hello~" Sunwoo greeted politely.
Jung-hwan politely returned a brief smile.
The giant salamander coughed violently twice...
"Her name is Wang Zixian, we call her Wang Zuxian~!" Deok-sun continued her introduction, ignoring the dragon's cough warning.
"Hello!" Zixian greeted them with a smile.
"Yes~ Hello~" When Sunwoo saw the dollfish cough, he suddenly smiled happily.
Jung-hwan returned the greeting with a fleeting smile.
The giant salamander coughed violently, glancing at Deok-sun between coughs, his eyes filled with a resentment that seemed capable of igniting the earth.
"Ah~ Deok-sun, what do you call yourselves?" Liu Shuyu interrupted, easing the awkwardness and resentment that had been building up in the dollfish...
"me?"
"Lee Mi-yeon~!"
Deok-sun answered directly.
"Are you crazy? You, Lee Mi-yeon?" Jung-hwan mocked without giving him any face.
“We’ve all met at the rice cake shop, right? Just speak informally, we’re all the same age anyway.” Deok-sun continued to dutifully organize the “meeting” between the two sides, completely ignoring Jung-hwan’s sarcasm.
“Okay!” Zixian replied first.
"Hey! You dance really well! Awesome!" Zixian exclaimed, praising the baby fish.
"You flatter me! You flatter me! I can't dance or anything like that," the salamander replied politely, even using honorifics.
"What are you saying? I told you to speak plainly!" Meiyu chimed in, picking up where the salamander left off.
"You must be Park Nam-jung (the star) from Sangmun High School, right? Wow! You dance much better than Park Nam-jung!" Mi-ok also praised the dollfish highly.
"Oh dear! You flatter me, you must be mistaken! No, I'm sorry!"
"We should go back now!"
"Children~~~ Let's go home~, ah, Deok-sun!"
The giant salamander rambled on, pulling at the others to try and get them to go back. Finally, he glared at Deok-sun with a gritted-teeth smile and said something.
"Deok-sun! You know we need to settle accounts properly from now on, right?"
"Huh? What?" Deok-sun feigned ignorance.
"Well then, we'll take our leave!" In his haste to escape, the dollfish dragged Sunwoo and Jung-hwan away without waiting for them to say goodbye, leaving only Liu Shuyu standing there.
"Shuyu! Ask Deoksun to bring the things over!" Jung-hwan was being dragged away but he still couldn't forget his drink; he really is a drunkard.
"Huh? What?" Deok-sun had already forgotten about it.
"Shuyu? Something? What?" Deok-sun stared at Liu Shuyu with her bright, sparkling eyes.
"It's okay~ Don't worry about him, Deok-sun, let's go for a walk!" Liu Shuyu pulled Deok-sun and jogged after him.
Only Wang Zixian and Zhang Meiyu, two disabled but determined individuals, remained standing there staring at each other.
On this country-style path, the streetlights cast a dim yellow glow. Sunwoo, Dongyu, and Jung-hwan, who had just received the alcohol from Yoo Seo-woo, walked ahead, while Deok-sun and Yoo Seo-woo strolled behind.
"How could she be Joey Wong?" the baby fish muttered to itself, unable to shake the thought.
"Hey! It's so late, won't we get caught by the headmaster?" Sunwoo's words would tonight set the wheels of fate in motion...
"What's that on Maggie Cheung's teeth?..." the salamander kept muttering.
"Alright!!!" Even Sunwoo couldn't listen anymore; all this guy could think about was the girl.
"Hehehe~~ My imported liquor~~" Now that he's lost his crush, Jung-hwan seems to have completely immersed himself in the world of alcohol...
"Deok-sun? I heard you lost your camera?" Liu Shu-yu asked suddenly as he and Deok-sun were taking a sweet stroll.
"Ah! You know?" Deok-sun looked at him in surprise.
"Yes, I heard about it!" Liu Shuyu smiled as he looked at her.
"Ahhh!!! Who told you that?!"
"Shuyu! Do you think I'm stupid?!"
"Woooooo~~"
"Even the most valuable camera in the house is lost!"
Deok-sun seemed to have been touched on a painful memory, her eyes immediately reddened, and she was about to cry.
"Hey~hey~Deoksun! No, that's not what I meant!" Liu Shuyu panicked. He just wanted to bring up the topic and take the opportunity to return the camera to her, but he didn't expect Deoksun to burst into tears, and he panicked immediately.
