Chapter 9 Children Need Discipline

Chapter 9 Children Need Discipline

Yan San was slightly taken aback. After realizing what Xi Yu had said, he was at a loss for words and didn't know how to reply. However, Xi Yu didn't wait for his reply and turned to run back, leaving Yan San and the others stunned on the spot.

"Pah! Who's a child? You're not much older than me..." Yue Zheng Shuang shouted angrily, waving her little fists wildly in a show of defiance.

"Xiao Shuang." Yan San slowly turned his head, and Le Zheng Shuang immediately swallowed her voice. He nodded in agreement and said, "That girl is right. You are too lacking in discipline. Come back with me."

Le Zheng Shuang, looking like a wilted eggplant, followed behind Yan San with her head drooping and dejected. Behind her was Hei Yao, who looked even more grief-stricken.

Yan San's lips slowly curled up. The girl just now looked not much older than Xiao Shuang, but she was extremely brave. He hadn't met anyone in a long time who could remain calm in front of him and not be suppressed by his aura.

After running home, Xi Yu couldn't help but think of the man who had just been called "Third Brother".

Xi Yu estimated that his mental strength had reached level B, but people in this era had not yet discovered the existence of mental strength, nor did they have a way to control it.

Having high mental strength but lacking control can have very dangerous consequences. At best, it can cause headaches and discomfort; at worst, it can even lead to death!

However... none of this has anything to do with her.

She quickly changed into her school uniform. Looking at her long, dry, and messy hair that lacked maintenance, she picked up a pair of scissors and neatly cut it to shoulder length. In particular, her long bangs that covered her eyes were gone, revealing a pair of bright and clear eyes.

At the school gate, Fang Qianyou saw Xi Yu. She gently patted Xi Yu's shoulder and greeted her shyly, "Good morning."

Xi Yu had a good impression of the girl and smiled in response, "Good morning."

She cut her hair short, which made her look refreshed and neat. Her naturally wavy hair also added a touch of vitality, making her look much more energetic.

Fang Qianyou exclaimed, "You got a haircut! You look great!"

Xi Yu smiled upon hearing this and walked into the classroom with her.

After two classes, Fang Qianyou went to the restroom and came back. Then she whispered mysteriously in Xi Yu's ear, "You know what? I heard that Ling Fenfen from the next class is in the hospital. I wonder what happened?"

Xi Yu raised an eyebrow. She had already shown great mercy yesterday and hadn't really hurt Ling Fenfen. Yet, she still needed to be hospitalized. It seemed she was no ordinary young lady.

"But it's probably for the best that she didn't come," Fang Qianyou said cryptically.

Xi Yu knew she meant that since Ling Fenfen wasn't there, no one would lead the bullying against her. However, besides Ling Fenfen, there were many other people in this school who disliked her, such as Teacher Zheng, who was giving a lecture in front of them.

"Fang Qianyou! What are you muttering about instead of paying attention in class?!" Teacher Zheng roared sternly.

Fang Qianyou was startled and quickly turned around, staring intently at her textbook, not daring to look around.

Teacher Zheng gave her a disgusted look, then glanced at Xi Yu beside her, and said sarcastically, "Fang Qianyou, come up here and solve this problem!"

Fang Qianyou's face turned pale. She stood up, her head bowed low, her eyes beginning to redden: "Teacher, I don't know..."

The math problem on the whiteboard was a topic they had just started learning today; it hadn't even been taught yet, so how could she possibly solve it?
