Chapter 216: Harem Force
Chapter 216: Harem Force
Chapter: Betrayal of Primus
"They have mechanized damnation. Let us tear down their factory."
However.
Before Adonis could take a single step forward, a massive grid of glowing white text materialized in the bleeding grey sky. The text was written in the ancient language of the Golden Heavens.
[System Notification: Absolute Authority Imposed.]
[Rule of the 6th Firmament: All Unjudged Souls Are Equal.]
[Status: Chaos Ether Locked. System Privileges Revoked.]
Adonis narrowed his eyes. He squeezed the hilt of his sword, attempting to channel his violent violet aura. Nothing happened. The infinite well of raw chaotic power inside him was completely sealed. The very atmospheric pressure of the 6th Firmament was acting like a cosmic straitjacket, neutralizing his specific energy signature.
"What is this?" Adonis demanded aloud. He looked at his hands in genuine surprise. "He wrote a localized physics engine just to counter my existence."
"Adonis!" Sirius screamed.
Her voice was laced with pure, unadulterated terror. Adonis turned just in time to see dozens of invisible, spectral chains erupt from the dark iron ground. The chains wrapped violently around Sirius’s wrists, waist, and throat.
"They are pulling me!" Sirius cried out in panic. "I cannot use my magic! My soul core is completely frozen!"
"Hold your ground, Sirius," Adonis ordered. He rushed forward to grab her hand.
The moment his fingers brushed against her obsidian armor, the same invisible chains erupted beneath his own boots. They coiled around his muscular legs and bound his arms to his sides. The sheer pulling force was astronomical. It was not a physical strength; it was the conceptual weight of the system dragging them toward the Pillar of Extraction.
"The machine does not care about physical strength. It only registers us as unprocessed fuel."
"My Emperor, it hurts!" Sirius wailed. Tears of blood streamed down her flawless face. "They are tearing at my mind! I can feel my childhood memories being ripped away!"
"Focus on my voice! Do not let the machine isolate your mind!"
They were lifted off the ground and dragged directly into the swirling center of the memory-erasing maelstrom. The air inside the vortex was completely white. Millions of fractured memory shards flew past them like razor-sharp glass.
Adonis felt a searing pain in his skull. The Pillar of Extraction was attempting to rip away his identity. It tried to take his pride, his conquests, and his memories of the Howling Keep.
"You cannot have my mind, Ascalon," Adonis growled through gritted teeth.
"Becuas eI own my memories."
[Warning: Ego Dissociation at Seventy Percent.]
[Warning: Standard Defenses Ineffective.]
"Adonis, I am losing you," Sirius sobbed. Her ruby eyes were growing glassy and vacant. "I cannot remember why I love you. Please, stop them."
Adonis closed his eyes. The Chaos System was locked, but the system had other tabs. He was not just a warlord of destruction. He was a conqueror of hearts. Ascalon’s grand machine was designed to strip away solitary pride, but it could not calculate the weight of absolute, unified devotion.
"System," Adonis commanded in his mind. "Bypass the localized physics engine. Access the secondary network."
[System Interface: Accessing Harem Network.]
[Dimensional Resonance Protocol Initiated.]
"Ascalon thinks power only comes from isolation and purity," Adonis whispered into the roaring white void. "But he forgot that true power comes from the bonds we forge. Sirius, listen to me. Your devotion is not just a memory. It is a physical armour."
Adonis reached out with his soul, projecting his intent across the dimensional barriers. He called out to the women who had sworn their lives, bodies, and souls to his empire.
He felt the connection instantly. Across the vast emptiness of the cosmos, from the hidden cities of the mortal realm to the conquered keeps of the lower firmaments, the [Affection Level] of his heroic maidens flared like supernovas.
"My husband calls," a soft, familiar voice echoed in his mind. It was Millia, her tone filled with absolute loyalty.
"We are with you, husband," Isabella whispered.
"Take our strength," a chorus of a dozen devoted women chanted together. "Break the heavens for us."
[Status: Power Synthesis Successful.]
[Skill Unlocked: Absolute Devotion Overdrive.]
From Adonis’s chest, a brilliant, blinding pink and violet light erupted. It was an energy source completely foreign to the 6th Firmament. It was neither Chaos nor Holy light. It was the harem force, weaponized power of pure affection and lust.
The spectral chains binding Adonis instantly shattered like cheap glass.
"What is this warmth?" Sirius gasped. The glassy look vanished from her eyes as the pink aura wrapped around her, restoring her stolen memories in a single heartbeat.
"This is the power of my empire," Adonis declared as he gripped his great sword
. The blade ignited with a towering pillar of pink and violet flames.
"And it is time to break this machine."
Adonis swung his sword in a massive, horizontal arc.
"Absolute Severance!" Adonis roared.
The wave of weaponized devotion slammed into the Pillar of Extraction. The indestructible bone gears stopped turning. The white gold metal groaned under the impossible pressure.
CRACK.
The colossal pillar exploded into a billion pieces. The shockwave of the blast rippled outward, shattering the Mirror of Regression and completely overturning the Crucible of Judgement. The golden feather of Ascalon was vaporized instantly.
"The scales are falling!" Sirius cheered. "You broke the rules of the realm!"
"No. I am rewriting them," Adonis corrected her.
The bleeding grey sky of the 6th Firmament began to crack like a fragile eggshell. Massive chunks of the dimension fell into the void below.
The millions of trapped souls were suddenly freed from their torture, looking up at the mortal Emperor in absolute awe.
"The ceiling is collapsing, my Emperor," Sirius pointed upward.
"Then we will jump through the hole," Adonis said. He wrapped one arm around her waist and channeled his new synthesized power into his legs.
With a deafening sonic boom, Adonis launched them straight up through the fracturing sky, leaving the ruined remains of the 6th Firmament behind.
They crashed violently onto a floor made of pure white clouds and polished pearl. The air here smelled of incense and burning sulfur simultaneously.
[System Notification: Entered 5th Firmament. The Sorting Station of Heaven and Hell.]
Adonis stood up and brushed the cloud dust off his robes. He looked around. This realm was supposed to be the final destination for processed souls. To his left were beautiful, golden gates leading to eternal paradise. To his right were jagged, obsidian gates leading to the burning pits of eternal punishment.
But neither gate was open.
Instead, massive golden pipes were bolted onto both the Gates of Heaven and the Gates of Hell. The pipes were violently siphoning the raw Soul Force out of the realms, funneling the energy directly upward into the 4th Firmament.
"He is robbing his own afterlife," Sirius said in pure disbelief. "The Sword God is stealing the rewards of the righteous and the punishments of the wicked."
A squad of towering, multi-winged angels clad in golden armor descended from the clouds, drawing blazing swords.
"Halt!" the lead angel commanded. "You have breached the sorting facility! Surrender your souls to the harvesters immediately!"
"Save your breath," Adonis interrupted. He did not even bother taking a fighting stance. "Your god is a fraud, and your pipes are an eyesore."
Adonis raised his free hand. He did not swing his sword. He simply projected a massive pulse of Absolute Devotion Overdrive.
The golden angels were instantly vaporized, their divine armor melting into useless puddles. The wave of pink and violet energy continued forward, slamming into the massive golden harvesters. The pipes burst open, releasing a torrential flood of trapped Soul Force back into Heaven and Hell.
"Next layer," Adonis commanded loudly. "We do not stop until we see his face."
"Yes, my Emperor!" Sirius shouted, her face flushed with the thrill of absolute destruction.
They did not walk. They flew. Adonis tore a hole in the sky of the 5th Firmament and dragged Sirius into the 4th.
The 4th Firmament was a realm of endless oceans. Adonis boiled the water away in ten seconds.
"Tear it all down!" Adonis yelled as they ascended.
They shattered the sky of the 4th layer and breached the 3rd.
The 3rd Firmament was a labyrinth of divine libraries and strategic war rooms. Adonis did not read the books. He burned the entire labyrinth to the ground with a single swing of his blazing sword.
"The scholars are screaming, Adonis!" Sirius laughed wildly as they flew past the burning ruins.
"Let them scream," Adonis replied coldly. "Their knowledge is built on stolen blood."
They crashed through the 2nd Firmament without even looking at the landscape. The sheer momentum of Adonis’s synthesized power was completely unstoppable. The divine laws of the upper heavens snapped and unraveled the moment he entered their airspace.
Finally, they breached the absolute ceiling of the cosmos.
They landed heavily on a floor made of solid, sparkling diamond. The sky above was not a sky at all. It was an infinite expanse of pure, blinding white light.
[System Notification: Entered 1st Firmament. The Apex.]
[Warning: Multiple Supreme Entities Detected.]
Adonis slowly stood up. Sirius landed beside him, her chest heaving as she tried to catch her breath. The sheer atmospheric pressure of the Apex was staggering, but Adonis’s devotion aura kept them completely safe.
"We made it," Sirius breathed heavily. She looked behind them at the massive crater they had left in the floor. "The entire system below us is completely broken."
"And the rats are finally cornered," Adonis noted as he rested his chaos sword on his shoulder and walked forward.
