Chapter 233 You Call Me
Chapter 233 You Call Me
Qiao Yingzi extended her index finger.
Ji Yangyang has made another move.
Fang Yifan yelled again, "Holy crap! It's burnt! Did you see that? My fingers are all burned!"
As expected of a poor student, Fang Yifan didn't know that when static electricity is released, the current generated is between two individuals, which means that if it were static electricity, Qiao Yingzi would also feel a lot of pain.
Qiao Yingzi sensed something was wrong, but Fang Yifan's loud shouting frightened her. Instinctively, she hid next to Ji Yangyang.
Perhaps there are only two familiar faces in this class, but the other familiar face has gone mad, leaving only the last one to rely on!
Fortunately, Ji Yangyang was in pain for only a short while, and then the pain subsided.
"Qiao Yingzi, you're toxic! If I touch you even once more, I'm a dog!"
Fang Yifan made a tough promise to himself.
The first year of high school was not difficult for Qiao Yingzi. Song Qian had already helped Qiao Yingzi preview the material in advance, so learning was easy and enjoyable.
At noon, Qiao Yingzi went to the restaurant for lunch, only to find that she had to queue! But after finally getting in line and buying her food, she discovered there were no seats available!
It wasn't that there were no seats at all, but everyone was seated separately. Qiao Yingzi wasn't used to eating with unfamiliar strangers. Looking around, she suddenly saw Fang Yifan and Ji Yangyang.
The two were in opposite directions, one in the south and the other in the north. Qiao Yingzi originally wanted to go find Fang Yifan, but remembering how Fang Yifan acted like a madman in the classroom, she walked towards the north and sat down opposite Ji Yangyang.
Perhaps the dishes Qiao Yingzi ordered were too salty. When they were more than halfway through eating, Qiao Yingzi grabbed Ji Yangyang's bottle of mineral water and opened the cap, saying, "Ji Yangyang, can I borrow your water?"
Ji Yangyang looked up at Qiao Yingzi and said, "I've already drunk it."
"It's okay, I don't mind!" Qiao Yingzi said casually.
Perhaps Song Qian should explain to Qiao Yingzi what the difference between men and women is?
School's out in the afternoon.
There are no evening self-study sessions in the first year of high school.
Everyone packed their bags and got ready to go home.
High school students at this stage have a severely diminished ability to take care of themselves! Compared to the four children of the Qiao family, they are far inferior! Although Qiao Erqiang and Qiao Simei were not exactly easy to manage, compared to today's children, they were incredibly easy to manage!
When school let out, most parents were waiting at the school gate. Even Song Qian was waiting there.
In public, Ji Yangyang didn't call her "Sister Song" directly. Instead, she nodded to Song Qian and then walked towards the Shuxiang Yayuan Garden on her own.
Qiao Yingzi came out quickly, only about ten meters behind Ji Yangyang.
Shuxiang Yayuan is right next to the school. Sometimes, if the teachers speak loudly, you can hear them banging on the blackboard from the nearest building, saying, "Remember this question! It wasn't on the test last year, but it definitely will be on it this year!"
Therefore, students at Shuxiang Yayuan generally do not drive to school, and some do not even ride bicycles.
It's not even enough time to lock the bike in the shed!
As they walked, the group led by Ji Yangyang gradually became clearer, including three little girls, including Qiao Yingzi.
The three people behind them started chatting.
What's your name? My name is Qiao Yingzi!
Your name is Qiao Yingzi, and mine is Huang Zhitao!
Your name is Qiao Yingzi, and mine is Wang Yidi!
From now on, we'll all be good friends!
Ji Yangyang felt lucky that she had run fast!
But Qiao Yingzi didn't let him off the hook, "That tall guy walking up ahead! His name is Ji Yangyang! He's my neighbor now!"
The two girls were more mature than Qiao Yingzi, and their gazes toward Ji Yangyang were clearly probing. Boys as handsome as Ji Yangyang were rare; each one was a scarce resource.
That evening, Qiao Yingzi suddenly remembered Ji Yangyang's tutoring. "Mom, didn't you say you were going to tutor Ji Yangyang? Today I asked him what time slot the tutoring would be, and he said it wasn't decided yet and told me to ask you!"
Song Qian was a little flustered. "Then let's do it at eight o'clock tonight."
Qiao Yingzi nodded. "The timing is perfect, not too early or too late. I'll tell him tomorrow."
"Okay, sure!" Song Qian agreed casually while reading a book next to Qiao Yingzi's desk.
Qiao Yingzi was unaware that Song Qian was reading a collection of Tang poems, and the most famous one was "Twenty-One Poems Inscribed on Tongguan Kiln Porcelain." The last four lines of the poem, "I was born before you were born, you were born after I had grown old. I transformed into a butterfly to seek flowers, and rested on fragrant grass every night," had been drawn with a thick black line by Song Qian.
The next day, Fang Yifan forgot the lesson he learned the day before. When he entered the school gate, he ran into Qiao Yingzi and tried to put his arm around her shoulder. Ji Yangyang sneered.
Fang Yifan yelled again and dodged slightly.
"You really are poisonous!"
This time, Qiao Yingzi wasn't afraid anymore and even mocked Fang Yifan, saying, "You promised that if you touch me even with one finger, you're a dog!"
Fang Yifan wasn't one to keep his word, and immediately tried to defend himself, "I didn't touch your finger! So it doesn't count!"
After this incident, Fang Yifan truly learned his lesson. Whenever Qiao Yingzi appeared, he would keep a distance of more than a meter and never cross that line.
During the break between classes, Qiao Yingzi found Ji Yangyang and said, "My mom said you have to go to tutoring at eight o'clock tonight!"
Ji Yangyang nodded. "Do you go every day at eight o'clock? Or are they split between Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday? Or are you only free for tutoring on weekends?"
Qiao Yingzi's mouth dropped open. "Ah! I didn't ask!"
"Hmm, I knew you wouldn't ask. Why don't you ask tonight?" Ji Yangyang patted Qiao Yingzi's head.
Qiao Yingzi slapped Ji Yangyang's hand away, "You've messed up my hair!"
Qiao Yingzi was just a child, so why were so many of her colleagues able to do such a thing?
When school ended in the evening, Qiao Yingzi asked Song Qian again, "Ji Yangyang asked, do you come for tutoring every day at eight o'clock? Or is it spread out like Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday? Or is tutoring only available on weekends?"
Qiao Yingzi repeated Ji Yangyang's original words!
Song Qian was both annoyed and amused that Qiao Yingzi had been completely fooled by Ji Yangyang. "Why don't you just let him come and ask me himself? We're so close, why did you have to go through all this trouble?"
Qiao Yingzi understood and immediately became angry! Her cheeks puffed out.
The next morning, they knocked on the door next door.
Ji Yangyang opened the door and saw Qiao Yingzi standing at the door. "Yingzi, so early, is there something you need?"
Qiao Yingzi pointed to her house, "My mom is home every night, why don't you just come over and ask her?"
"What do you want to ask?"
"I'm asking you about tutoring." Qiao Yingzi was getting a little frustrated.
"Didn't you want to ask yourself? I just didn't want to discourage you." Ji Yangyang laughed. "So, did you ask or not? When exactly is Sister Qian going to tutor me?"
Qiao Yingzi was stunned for a moment, "I asked, but my mom didn't say! She told you to ask her yourself!"
Ji Yangyang nodded. "Okay then. Have you eaten? If not, shall we go out to eat together?"
"My mom made me breakfast, you can go out and eat by yourself!" Qiao Yingzi really wanted to go out to eat, but she didn't dare!
Ji Yangyang slung her backpack over her shoulder, changed into the sneakers by the door, and prepared to leave.
Qiao Yingzi looked envious.
