Chapter 473 Arranging Things on the Ship
Chapter 473 Arranging Things on the Ship
In the spacious and brightly lit conference room, Ruan Mianmian stood at one end of a long table, her gaze sweeping over the clan leaders sitting in a circle, her expression serious and solemn.
"Elders," Ruan Mianmian's voice was clear and strong, "we will be living together on this ship from now on. This is a completely new challenge, but I believe that as long as we each use our strengths, we will be able to overcome it."
She paused briefly, then continued, "This ship isn't moving very fast, so we have plenty of time to prepare. Jiang, you lead the orcs who are good swimmers and are in charge of the ship's food supplies. See if you can catch some fish and shrimp in the river to provide everyone with fresh food."
Jiang, a burly water-type beastman, nodded vigorously, indicating that he understood the mission.
Ruan Mianmian continued, "Daman, you and Tu, along with the other skilled craftsmen, must organize yourselves. If any facilities on the ship are damaged, you must repair them promptly. Pay special attention to areas near the hull, such as the masts, and make sure the tribesmen don't damage them."
Daman, a clever and resourceful female orc, smiled and replied, "Don't worry, Chief, we will definitely not let you down."
Ruan Mianmian turned to Yong and said, "Yong, you are in charge of arranging the guards and ensuring everyone's safety. There can be no slackening of vigilance, whether it is day or night."
Yong patted his chest and said, "Leave it to me, I'll put everyone at ease."
Then, Ruan Mianmian looked at Yu and said, "Yu, you, Kun, and the other flying orcs should fly up into the sky from time to time to patrol and observe the situation in the air. If there is anything unusual, report to me immediately."
Yu immediately replied, "No problem, Chief!"
Finally, Ruan Mianmian said to Zhong, "Zhong, there is a tall mast on the ship. The gorillas are responsible for climbing up it to observe the surroundings. You have the best eyesight, so be sure to spot any potential dangers in time."
In the middle stood a tall, gorilla-like beastman. He smiled confidently and said, "Leave it to us. We'll definitely do a good job."
The clan leaders nodded in unison, their eyes filled with determination and excitement. They were filled with curiosity and anticipation for this mysterious divine ship, eager to visit it after the meeting.
"Oh, right." Ruan Mianmian patted her head as if she suddenly remembered something. "This ship has five floors, and each floor has lots and lots of rooms. I'll be staying on the top floor. You can decide how to allocate the remaining rooms yourselves, but make sure everyone has a place to sleep at night."
"Don't worry, Chief, we will definitely arrange all the accommodations!" the group replied in unison, their voices echoing in the empty cabin.
Just as everyone was getting ready to choose their rooms, a group of little ones ran around the cruise ship excitedly like wild horses. They were full of curiosity about this new environment and wanted to explore every corner.
Suddenly, Xiao Jin spotted a room filled with gym equipment, and his eyes lit up. He curiously fiddled with the treadmills, dumbbells, and other equipment, completely oblivious to where he was going. As a result, he tripped over the treadmill belt and fell flat on his face with a thud.
The other cubs happened to see this, and they were stunned for a moment before bursting into laughter. Little Jin himself felt a little embarrassed, quickly got up from the ground, dusted himself off, and joined in the laughter.
The females, meanwhile, discovered all sorts of strange and wonderful kitchen utensils in the restaurant, including frying pans, ovens, juicers, and more. They excitedly gathered around, examining these novel items and beginning to experiment with using them to cook food.
For a time, the cruise ship was filled with laughter and joy, creating a lively atmosphere. The beastmen, too, gradually adapted to life on board in this ambiance.
Seeing everyone so happy, Ruan Mianmian felt very gratified. She believed that as long as everyone worked together, they would surely find a new home in this migration.
